Meet Michelle
(The Fiber Sprite)

I've had an ongoing love affair with fiber as an art
medium since I first discovered it. This began for me
in the early eighties, at the Kansas City Art Institute.

During twenty plus years of transforming a myriad of
ideas into complex cloth; wearable art, wall art and
home decor accents, the passion is still alive.

While dying, felting and weaving with natural fibers, I "play",
allowing me to create joyful pieces - sometimes with
unexpected results - this keeps the ideas flowing endlessly.

I love color and texture. It feels fabulous to
touch the raw materials while creating with them.
